About

Selfish for your health believes that “placing your well-being first should never come last”. Our aim is to help to empower women to unapologetically reframe the word, "self-fish" for the selfless by placing their health first without guilt. 

 

We help our clients unlearn old behaviors and adopt lifelong habits by providing holistic interventions through health, prevention, and well-being services. Along with our services, we provide support, tools, health education, resources, and referral outreach to improve health outcomes and spark behavior change. Our goal is to increase realistic healthy habits for all women and especially women of color who are most vulnerable for poor health outcomes impacted by high blood pressure, diabetes, stress, lack of sleep and obesity.

Our aim is to increase vitality by developing an opportunity to combat preventable health conditions, obesity, and metabolic conditions to improve the health status of minority women who are at-risk populations while impacting communities. Our goals include:

It is often said the one can’t pour into others from an empty cup if their cup is depleted. We at selfish for your health would like to change this narrative to redefine self-care to make health and personal wellbeing a number one priority. We strive to keep every cup filled and overflowing in abundance and fulfillment for every woman.

Tiffany Taylor is a Public Health Practitioner and Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, where she helps women of color lose weight, improve their relationship with food, and decrease disease risk so they can adopt realistic habits to live a more fulfilling life.

 

Tiffany has over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and master’s in public health. She is also a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

 

She has worked as a public health professional, global wellness program manager, and exercise physiologist for corporate health and wellness, community health, and geriatric wellness. Combined Tiffany has served over 65,000 individuals nationally and globally including healthcare workers to corporate executives at American Express, WebMD, RWJBarnabas, The YMCA, Atlantic Healthcare system, and more.

 

Tiffany started Selfish for Your Health, LLC after her own personal struggles with her health, weight and scarcity of Selfcare. In addition, she noticed the impact obesity, lack of nutrition education, and access to services had on her family, as well as her community. Ever since Tiffany pursued her exercise science degree, she then learned part of her passion and purpose was to provide the right tools, strategy, education, and support to those ready and determined to make a permanent lifestyle change. In her spare time, Tiffany LOVES dancing, going to the beach, creative arts, traveling, and laughing.

A Public Health and Kinesiology professional, with over 13 years of experience in the community wellness, corporate health, and fitness industry.

I decided to combine my years of experience, expertise, and education from the public health and corporate health sector. I intend to pour my innovation and health solutions back into my community who need it the most, to the women who look like me, to serve as a creative catalyst and improve the well-being, health status and increase health equality.
